Florists recs

I know I know there has been a lot of posts about florist recs before but I just found out that my top 3 florists- Tangled Web (JBs_Bride, are you using them?), Bella Floral, and Andrea D'Amelio Floral Design are all booked or not available on my date. :(  Can anyone make any recommendations of florists who are affordable and make modern and creative arrangements who are not too far from the Boston area (within 30 min)?

Thank you!

Junelley, I absolutely adore the florist I'm using - Petalena Flowers. If you look at the pictures on their blog, you'll be blown away by their creativiy (totally biased opinion, of course!) I also liked the owners of Fino Fresh Floral and their work.

The Celebrated Flower did a great job with our florals.  They are in Somerville near Porter Square.  Pics in bio of their work.  They don't have a website, but they were recommended by our venue, and they did a fabulous job.

I haven't picked mine yet, but I've met with a few so far that I've really liked and they are pretty creative and the prices were reasonable:

    Dogwood Floral Design - Saugus
Wedding Flowers by Annette - Revere

We're using SweetFerns - they're out of Plymouth, so more like a 45 min to an hour commute which might be too far for you, but I didn't want to not give you her info.  Gale is amazing to work with and I've seen her work for other weddings and she did a great job.

    GL is your search!

I am a Tangled Web bride. :o)  Jen books up really quickly. When I booked, I just squeaked in for the first Saturday in June. I also met with Spruce and Tangerine Creations. Both of them were awesome (I would have gone with Spruce if TW hadn't worked out).

I'm using Maplewood florist in Plaistow, NH. The woman, Julie, has been wonderful, we just booked her recently for our May 2010 wedding, too.

She's VERY reasonable, too. We went to a place in Andover -- that I won't name -- to get a quote and for the same exact thing, she was half of what they quoted us. Ridiculous. She did my future brother-in-law's wedding last year and the flowers were beautiful.

Ford Flowers was fabulous- my bouquet was a Knot Pick from our Real Wedding feature!  So highly recommended.

    I am using Nicole Pirani

    http://www.bloomsofhopefloral.com/

She seemed affordable, creative, organzied and very nice. I loved the interview, and mock ups that she did (for free). She was also written up in the Boston Globe. Really she is my favorite vendor so far (but I haven't had the wedding yet)!
