Just engaged...small wedding help

I just got engaged on December 28th - it was amazing. 

Anyway, after people wanting to see the ring, they want to know when.  I originally found a place in Orlando that takes care of the venue (botanical garden), officiant, photography, license, music....but now my family isn't happy about travelling.  They will travel if my heart is set on it but I am not sure.

So does anyone know of a local place that will handle most of the planning.  Also there will only be @ 20 people at the wedding/reception.

since its a small group, id look into booking a private room at a restaurant.  that's what we did.  youll have much better food for way less money, and all of your plates, linens, etc. will  be included.

No place is going to take care of the license, you and your FI have to go to a town hall to get that. Most restaurants ot hotels have a coordinator that can give you recs for flower/photo/music.

The State Room plans everything, they also own Veronique. Not sure if they can handle a smaller group though. You might be better off with a restaurant.

Also- have you considered hiring a wedding planner? They often can save you money in negotiating and will handle all the vendors for you. Even a DOC might help- I think it was some of the best money we spent on the DOC so I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding!
