Beautiful Blushing Brides Hair and Makeup

Hey ladies,

I have hired Beautiful Blushing Brides to do my entire wedding party and my hair for my September wedding. I had a trial back in July and have yet to receive the pictures. I  let almost a month go by before I asked to see how they came out. I have since waited another few weeks and asked again still without answer. Has anyone else run into these problems with this company? Our trial went great and I had sent my deposit months ago. I guess I am just a little concerned about follow through.

I didn't get any pictures with my trial, just the ones I took on my phone. I have never heard of the hair stylist providing pictures of the trial, they usually just take one for themselves so they remember how it looked.

I'm actually having a similar issue with her. I had a consultation and put down a deposit back in May/June. In July she emailed me my receipt and asked me about setting up a trial date in September. I have emailed her three times - over a month ago, 2 and a half weeks ago and five days ago and I still haven't heard anything from her. I know she's around because I can see she's on gmail and she updates her Facebook. I'm about to ask for my deposit back.

Brittni- I know exactly what you mean. My wedding is three weeks away and I am starting to get very concerned. I do not consider myself a demanding person, but this is her business.

I had a trial with her and she did say that she would email the photos she took. That was about 2 weeks ago and I haven't received them yet. She was pretty hard to pin down to set up my trial but I found that calling her rather than emailing was a better way to reach her.
She hasn't followed up with me to find out if I want to book her for my wedding. I find that really weird but I do have to say that I've found many make up artists to be that way (and some photographers). I reached out to almost a dozen when I was doing my research and many never even responded to my email/call. I realize they are busy, but I think it's a bad business practice not to respond to a potential client.

I am having a similar issue with her too! I met with her back in May and gave her my deposit. She told me that she would email me with my receipt and confirmation. About a month went by and I hadnt heard anything so I emailed her asking about it, she said that she was really sorry but that she would have it to me asap, that she was just really busy. It is now the end of August and I still have not received it! I emailed her last week to just catch up and make sure that she still had my date since I hadn't heard from her, and I still have not heard back.

I look on her companys facebook page sometimes and they seem to be VERY busy with tons of weddings...but she should still answer her emails...

I am glad to know that I am not the only one having this problem!  I reached out to her about 2 months ago.  She responded back right away and sent me the form to fill out with all of the info.  I filled it out, emailed it to her, and I have not heard back.  This was 5 weeks ago.  I am wondering if I should just look elsewhere for a hair/make-up person.  The above stories are making me nervous!

I'm going to try calling her as suggested. I think she's not intentionally ignoring all of us. I'm almost certain that her business exploded much quicker than she had expected and is not equipped to handle it. However, it's no excuse for not getting back to all of us.

I agree with you brittni...I really don't think that she is just blowing us off, she is probably very overwhelmed with all the business she is getting this summer (again, not an excuse though). Good luck, let us know how it goes!

Hi Ladies,

I've also booked beautiful blushing brides for my wedding hair and makeup. Like what's been mentioned above, I just think she's very busy with weddings right now, probably on top of a full-time job. I'm having my trial with her this weekend,and she managed to squeeze me in between two other weddings that she's doing on Saturday just so I could have the trial on the day of my shower.  I too, have experienced some delays with responses back to emails but if you keep following up with her, you'll get a response.  I've met with her in person and found her to be very sweet and she gave off a reliable air, plus you can't beat her prices! Good luck, I hope everyone is able to get a response from her, keep emailing and calling!

I almost went with this place but changed my mind. I am glad I did, that is a huge pet pieve of mine and would have been extremely upset and stressed out. Good luck ladies....keep calling her!!

FYI - She just responded to my emails. It seems if you contact her via Facebook or call she'll respond to you. She did mention that her grandfather passed away this month and she's been having trouble since then.
