So I went to pick up my dress today after dropping it off to be cleaned at Wal-Lex Cleaners in Waltham. After our Rock the Frock at Green Animals it was filthy, not to mention probably smelly from me sweating like crazy in it...LOL. Anyway, I haven't looked very closely yet, but took a quick look at the bottom/back where it had been the dirtiest, and it looked clean--yay! I'll inspect it more closely over the weekend and let you know next week how it came out since I know a lot of girls are always asking about local places to have their dress cleaned. Oh, and I just had it cleaned & pressed, not "preserved" & put in a box, although they do that too for the same price, $135. My dress is silk taffeta.
