Should I Order Built In Crinoline For My Dress?

Hi there,
I'm custom ordering my dress and need to decide whether to add built in crinoline or not.  What do you ladies think?  I want it to be slightly less full / less train than what is pictured, since I'm petite and want to move around!  I wish I remembered what layers the dress originally has.

Pic of dress is here:

Thanks!

LOVE your dress! Sort of reminds me of my Maggie-Fiorella. I've found that most pictures of dresses (like stock pictures on models) have a crinoline. So I'd say if you want it to have the fullness of the dress in the picture, go for the crinoline.

If you don't get the crinoline, you can always buy one separately if you're not happy with the fullness, but cutting out a built in crinoline may be a little more complicated.

Oh!  I just read about this in Boston Weddings magazine.  There was a wedding dress designer that said you should buy the crinoline/ undergarments separately, because when the dress is on the hanger, the anything extra attached to the dress can pull at the seams of the dress and weigh it down.  I don't know if that changes th shape of the dress or anything but that's what it said.  Sorry, I gave the magazine to a friend or I would look for the specific quote.

    Hope that helps!

my Maggie Sottero dress had a built in crinoline layer.  It was nice and didn't make the dress drape weirdly at all.  I'm not sure what the story is with your gown, but it is worth considering.

I would say buy it separatley, I only suggest this because my cousin wanted her dress very poofy, but, then at the last minute she decided it was to much. It would have been awful to cut it out.
