Shower Venue in Boston Suburbs?

Does anyone have any suggestions for a venue for a shower in the Boston area?  There will be 50-70 people and I am looking for a pretty restaurant or hotel.  Thinking of a suburb rather than in Boston proper because I am assuming it will be less expensive and it will be easier for guests coming form NH and RI to park. Thanks.

  • I went to one at Sofia's Restaurant in West Roxbury and it was great. I'm actually having my rehearsal dinner there because the food was fab! For a shower of that size though you won't be in a room all by yourselves but they'll sequester you to a certain section.

Also--not too expensive I don't think! And a big parking lot

  • Not sure if Braintree is too far for people coming from NH but the Granite Grill is very reasonable, very clean and great decor inside, and right off the highway (93). I wanted to have my shower there but my date was already booked. You should also check out Venezia in Quincy. It's also right off 93 and sits right on the water. I've heard the food is awesome and the setting is beautiful. The other area I was considering was Marina Bay. There are several restaurants there that would make for a very nice shower venue with lots of parking. Good luck in your search!
