Smith Barn Peabody - Summer Reception?

Has anyone been to a wedding at the Smith Barn in Peabody for a summer reception? I'm aware the site has no AC- how bad is it? We're planning an evening ceremony & reception for next July. Does the barn cool down enough in time for the evening reception?

    My friend was married there (gorgeous wedding) and it was a really humid day.  I didn't mind that so much cause the wedding was really fun.  I can't remember if there were fans or anything.

    Thank you for the input! I really love the venue, just trying to get my fiance on board :) He's very concerned about the lack of AC + a July wedding. We'll see!
