Lighting?

When we went to visit our reception venue, they mentioned that sometimes people choose to rent uplights or even add the circular "paper lantern" looking things too the lights above.

Anyone have any vendors for this to recommend, and have any ideas on approximate cost?  This one's totally new to me!

Thanks,
Kate

RC Uplighting gets great reviews on here. We weren't able to use lighting because our venue had a lot of windows and it wasn't dark until 8pm (well into the evening). So just make sure the lighting will be worth it (will add to the ambiance).

I can not say enough how much I loved working with RC Uplighting. They truly transformed my venue's ballroom from a standard room to a space with true ambiance.

As for pricing, it all depends on how many lights you want and the size of your room. If they have availabilty, they should tell you their pricing list (not sure if its changed yet).

Let me know if you'd like some pics of the room!

We worked with Boston Uplights. We had 16 lights and LED candles for around $1500

We used Northeast Uplights and they were great.  I agree that prices vary depending on how many lights you need and what kind of lights you want to use.  Uplighting was my favorite part of our wedding, it just made the room pop and Matt was awesome to work with.
