Question about Escort Cards

I just received my blank escort cards in the mail and I'm not sure how to put my guests' names on them. Is it tacky for the names & table numbers to be hand written or should they be printed? My mom has very nice handwriting (she is addressing all of our invitations) but it certainly can't be confused with professional calligraphy. If I should get them professionally printed, where should I take them? I'm sorry if this is an obvious answer, I've only been to a handful of weddings myself and I really can't remember the specifics of the escort cards! A lot of my google searches are showing escort cards with printed names so I'm leaning towards that. I've learned so much from reading these boards and I trust a lot of your opinions! Thanks!!

You can either print them on your computer or have someone hand write them. I am sure your Mom's handwriting would be fine!

If you have nice handwriting I would say go for it! We are planning on printing them directly onto the cardstock

I would handwrite it unless it's easier for you tp print it. People pick them up, put them in a pocket or purse, and forget about it.

Nice handwriting is fine. My mom would have done it, but she decided she didn't feel like it.  So we picked a nice font and printed them out.
