Anyone use Fasano's Catering before?

Hi, I am looking into having our wedding at Pembroke Country Club but they only allow you to choose from 2 caterers. Gourmet is wayyyy too expensive so I just emailed Fasano's with some questions. They seem to have fair prices on meals but the thing is they also seem to have a few fees going on. My main issue would be if you use their wedding package you get charged if it is under 150 people ($6 per person that is missing.) We are planning on having around 135. Has anyone used them before/had any issues? Thanks!

We are using them too, a friend of mine knows the owner and they have nothing but good things to say about them, ive heard their food is really good and the staff is great

I used them but didn't use the wedding package.  Marta is amazing, she is the catering manager and she goes above and beyond for you.  The food prices are great and the food was really really good.   She will work with you on your budget.  She also let's you use her vendors for her prices if you are not using the package.  I used her cake vendor(donna's cakes also amazing) and I got her discounted rate for the cake.  Marta really worked as my coordinator at times and I highly recommend them.  If you have any other question you can e-mail me at

I also had my wedding at Pembroke and they were great too.  Sam and Joe really worked to make my night wonderful.

Fasano's and Pembroke have been great so far, and we also didn't go with the package because I wasn't impressed by the vendors in their package.  But there aren't any crazy charges from them, like minimums or delivery.  And Donna's Cakes are delicious! 

Pembroke has had some staff turnover since we booked with them last year which made me nervous, but Sam seems to be doing well and with only 5 days out I feel pretty calm knowing things are taken care of by her and Fasano's.

Congrats!  You're wedding will go great:)  Sam and the new GM Joe and her husband were at the wedding all night and of course Fasano's managed the whole event and made sure it was perfect.  I''ll send you some pics tonight when I get home:)  I can't get to them at work since they are on facebook.

I just looked at Pembroke this past Saturday! I absolutely loved Jo, and the larger room w/ the wrap around porch.
I'm going to be calling Fasaon's on my lunch to go over things. Glad to hear people like them

I had e-mailed with Gourmet, and they were beyond nice, but oh my lord they are PRICEY!

Our wedding will be at Pembroke CC on 9/8/12. We are going with Fasano's as well and just recently went to a tasting that they had at the Sons of Italy in Braintree. Their food was outstanding and their prices are very reasonable.  We went to a tasting for Gourmet back in April and although delicious and very elegant, their prices were very much out of our price range.
