How did you ask your MOH??

Hi girls!

I plan on asking my bf to be my MOH on x-mas eve at the family party...BUT I want to do it in a nice cool way that will be remembered...any ideas...besides a scrapbook..FI did that for his best man....She does a lot for me and shes been there for me forever!!!

    I made a card using scrapbooking paper and I hand wrote a poem inside asking her to be my MOH. She loved it! Maybe try writing out some of the funny adventures you two have had together and tie it together into a poem or paragraph?

    I am going the funny route and wrapping a hideous dress (it's pretty funny because I bought 3 of the for $5 in college when were were roommates and we were going to use them for Halloween to be J. Lo's bridesmaids), but the card on the outside is going to be sentimental and sweet so she probably won't be expecting the monstrosity in the nicely wrapped box :)

    The hideous dress idea is hilarious!! Wish I had been so creative! I just had flowers and a poem sent to her at work - she was really caught off guard..she knew she would be MOH but she wasn't expecting me to do anything more than a phone call.

    For Xmas Eve, I'd do a special ornament. Find an etsy seller who can make something special!!

    That's a really cute idea. My MOH knew she was going to be my MOH before I ever got engaged, so there was really no "asking".

    I am not sure where you live, but there's a store in Newburyport called Bountiful Baskets that has ornaments...I know they have Bridesmaid, Flowergirl, and Bride...I can't remember if they have Maid of Honor too....I got them for my bridesmaids and actually have the bride one hanging on my tree right now :)

    I love the ornament idea!!

    I took her to paint pottery with the other BMs but they didn't know I had already painted them wine goblets. After we were done painting I pulled theirs out of my bag and it took them like 2 minutes to see the "will you be my BM" on the bottom of the glass and understand why I randomly painted something for them! I pulled out the wine and we toasted!! It was a fun day!
