hair trial question

when you went for your hair trial, did you know how you wanted your hair done for your wedding or did you have the stylist try various styles, make suggestions, etc?  I have my trial this weekend, and other than the fact that I know I want my hair all up w/some curls, I don't know exactly how I want my hair done....I'm hoping they help w/this and can find something that works well and that I like

I was like you... I knew that I wanted it up, but beyond that I didn't know. Rachel tried a couple of things until we found something that really worked. The girls at SEB are great and will definitely work with you to find a hair (and makeup) look that works well for you.

Thanks JB, I hope all works out well at my trial tomorrow....SEB has gotten a lot of good reviews on here.....if it does go well and I hire them, they will be travelling to us and I live on the north shore, so it's a hike for me to go to the south shore for my trial

I ad 2 trials... one 6 months before the wedding to book the stylist and another 2 1/2 weeks before to get the style down.

For the first, I sort of knew what I wanted. At the time, my hair was shorter than I knew it would be at the wedding so it was hard to figure out specifics. We played around with a few styles and then found 2 that I liked. We took a TON of pics and then went home and starred at them for a few months.

At the second trial we again played around with the previously tried styles and found one that I loved.

My stylist was super sweet and willing to work with me and figure out exactly what would look best on me.

I had mine today and brought a few pics with me of hair styles that I like.  She just chose one and did it perfectly.

I just had mine today. She knew I wanted a low updo and did 3 different styles. I ended up choosing a hybrid of #1 and #2
