B-Party Recs

OK so, I am all over the place with this b-party thing. All my friends and BMs are from north shore MA and NH -- so we had wanted to go into Boston for a fun night of dancing and drinking. Problem is, nobody wants to stay in the city b/c it costs so much.
So, I'm looking for ideas of places to go, or fun things to do (like a pole-dancing class) in the city or outside of it. If we're outside the city, parking will be better and a few of us could be DDs. But if we're in the city, I suppose a bus of some sort (or really big limo) might be a better idea. OR if you know of any good hotels that are in good distance from places and don't break the bank.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
I was thinking of even a booze cruise around the harbor-- know of any cruises that are popular?

I don't have any recs for limos or booze cruises, but I did notice that travelzoo has the Omni Parker on sale for $99/night through the beginning of April. http://hotels.travelzoo.com/lodging-hotels/734070

Ha-- I JUST got the same Travelzoo email and started thinking about B-parties, and look, you guys took the thoughts right out of my head. I'm not sure if they always do this, but the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge had a good park and stay deal going around Christmas time-- it was $111 a night and that included garage parking. Would it be possible for most people to park somewhere outside the city and use public transportation to get it? If parking isn't involved you can find some good deals for Boston hotels through expedia or the like.
I have gone to a bday party on one of those party buses. It was fun, but everyone got VERY drunk and it got to the point that being on a moving vehicle was not a good idea. Good luck.

I went to Jacque's Cabaret (Drag Show) in the Theater District for a B-Party and it was super fun and very affordable.  Reserve a table ahead of time to get a good seat.  We were all sitting around the bar but it was still fun, and this way we were out of "harm's way", which I appreciated.  (Beware: If you're close - some of the ladies get pretty touchy feely!)

I went to Jaque's for a b-party and then we headed over to the Alley- not sure if it is still here but there was a bar with a mechanical bull at the time.

I also went to a house party (just a few girls) where a woman came and did a pole dancing class- it was hilarious fun! And since it was at a privte house we could enjoy some drinks- places that have pole dancing at gyms don't usually allow drinking because I think it makes them liable. I cannot for the life of me remember the name- I think it might have been 'pole lot of fun' or something like that.

kedoo, yes she brought a pole that came in pieces with a base and set it up. Although I think it ended up scratching the wood floors a bit, it would prob be better on carpet.

It was THE BEST TIME EVER! She showed us a few basic moves and we all took turns. She was like a 40-something housewife- but boy could she shake it! ahaha. Anywho, I will try to find out the company- I think she ran it herself, like a franchise thing. I would highly recommend it for a fun girls night! And like I said, the wine helped everyone dance with a little more confidence!
