Need Help Finding Affordable Venue!

I will take any suggestions, but ideally looking at something more scenic, possibly outdoors. Possibly something closer to the water! North shore of Massachusetts area... or at least near the east coast. I really need to find a place asap, my wedding is in September and I have no money!!!!

Not sure of your price range.. I am getting married at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem in July. I am in LOVE with the venue. It's indoors but the ballroom has two story ceilings and there are palladium windows overlooking the Salem commons. You can take photos out there. Some people do the ceremony there and then hold the reception in the ballroom....

I adore it! PM me if you want more info

How many guests are you expecting and how much would you like to spend per person?

For us - one of the things that helped make venues much more affordable was whether or not they let you bring your own alcohol.  Obviously open bars at the venue are going to be much more; if you can buy the alcohol wholesale it will be significantly less per person.  The Commons in Topsfield allowed this, I remember.

One of the best deals I found was the Hawthorne Hotel.  If you have a Friday night wedding, it's only $55 per person.

One of the venues my fiance' and i looked at was Danversport Yacht Club. It was of our final two choices. We loved the fact that our wedding would have been out doors right on the ocean and the fact that they included a lot in their package such as flowers and the cake, but a 10,000 minimum. Not bad compared to whats out their in cost for venues. I'm sure you'd want to research their venues, but the venue itself is GORGEOUS. They are renovating the entire building. I had my Senior Prom their and it was gorgeous then with great food...that was almost 10 years ago. We ended up going with another venue because it was closer to home and more convienient for guests. Good luck!

I got married at Cruiseport Gloucester it wasn't too expensive and my cousin got married at the Elks at Bass Rocks it was really nice and a little cheaper.  Both are on the water in Glouceser.  In both venues you need to find a cater.  We both used Vinwood and it was great.
