Recommend your DJ

I'm looking for a DJ to book.  I want someone who can get the crowd to stay on the dance floor most of the night.  If you liked your DJ or been to a wedding where the music was great please recommend them.  Thanks in advance.

2 of my friends used the DJ's from Entertainment Specialists and I think they were great! I just booked one of their DJ's for my wedding- so hopefully the dance floor will be packed all night just like my friends' weddings were! So check them out!

Can't say ENOUGH great things about him!  Our wedding coordinator commented, as well as staff at our venue, that they have never seen so many people dancing at wedding the ENTIRE time!  Peter was even able to get my grandparents (who are almost 90) out on the dance floor all night. 

Peter knows the business and this all comes natural to him. Great speaker and plays even better music- I felt comfortable telling him my and DH style and we felt confident he could play what we loved.  We were right- didn't have to worry about a thing. He did an amazing job!

We're using Peter from Nuimage. Tons of our friends have used them. I've also heard Guy and Sean from Nuimage are great.

We used Aaron Topfer for our wedding, and we were very happy with him.  You can read my review in my bio.  He definitely kept our dance floor going all night, but he's not your typical in your face MC kind of DJ.  We didn't do games to get people dancing and he wasn't on the microphone rounding people up, but I knew I didn't want or need that.  I was dancing all night and my crowd followed suit.  I personally liked his classy and non-intrusive approach since I've never been fond of cheesy DJs.  But of course that's just my style.  You should definitely check him out, though, and see if he's for you.  Here's his website

DJ Dan McCarthy.  He will invite you to his house which has a studio and let you do a lot of planning (or little if you trust him).  He also does home games for the Celtics and Bruins so he CAN "read" a crowd's energy well.  Books up fast!
