DJ Recommendations

Hi Everyone

I am just starting my search for a dj. Can anyone recommend a great dj. I really want someone who is going to keep the party going and get people on the dance floor! I have recently been to a wedding where the dj was not so great...and I realize now I really want a great dj!

    We're having DJ John Cristoferi.  He's got lots of good reviews.

    We are using Rob Alberti (http://www.robalberti.com/). We saw him at a wedding in September and he was fabulous. We were so impressed we didn't even look at other DJs when it came to our wedding.  Kept people on the dance floor -- not your "typical" dj!  Really listends to what the bride/groom want. He has been extremely easy to work with so far. Hope this helps!

    We booked NuImage Entertainment.  They did FI's brothers wedding as well as one of his cousins and they really kept the dance floor packed all night!

    I second NuImage Entertainment.  A little pricey but I would pay more for them if I had to.  I love them!  The price also includes tax and gratuity so dont be scared too much when you hear the prices.

    Peter, Sean and Guy are the 3 that I've seen and are amazing.  We went with Sean because hes about $500 less than Peter but IMO just as good.

    We used Peter from Groove Entertainment.  He was amazing.

    We got the package that included uplights and video.

    We're using for a DJ RaMu and the Crew from RI (he travels pretty much anywhere)!!  He includes a ridiculous number of things in his package (like free uplighting)! He's been my favorite vendor so far and awesome to work with.  His prices are so affordable.  Check out his reviews on WeddingWire.  I want to keep the dance floor moving the whole night as well and it sounds like RaMu was just what I was looking for! HTH!

    We're using Greg Hodges at 5 Star Events.  He had a ton of great reviews on Wedding Wire and from all of my many conversations he LOVES what he does.  I've been very impressed with his responsiveness so far!

    We just used Peter from Nuimage and he was great but not sure if he's worth the price. I've heard great things about Guy and Shawn from Nuimage as well and they're less expensive. I've also heard C-Zone is great.

    We are using C-Zone and Greg (the owner) is going to be the DJ.  He is really great to work with and the prices are great!  They offer a ton of live music for cocktail hour or during dinner too.  I'm really happy with him

    Ditto on C-Zone. Greg was booked for our wedding date, and we used Max Baun. He was PHENOMENAL! My dance floor was packed all night! I have 3 friends who have already booked him for their wedding! I highly recommend C-Zone and Max Baun

    we were extremely happy with our DJ - Jeff Mader from ECF entertianment. HIs pricing was great as well
