No rehearsal at venue; what to do?

Hi Everyone! Hope everyone is having a great day.

We love our venue, but it has the drawback of not permitting/being able to accomodate rehearsals. The idea of not rehearsing at all makes me a bit nervous. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas for where/what to do?

Also, we didn't originally plan a rehearsal dinner, since we didn't think we could have one, but just in case, any Boston, Metro Boston/North of the city/North shore suggestions for a rehearsal dinner venue?

Thanks very much and have a great day!

My MOH got married this summer and couldn't do a rehearsal at her venue either.  They did a backyard BBQ for the rehearsal dinner and just had the bridal party show up 30 minutes before others that we invited to the dinner to rehearse in the yard.  We had no problems figuring it out on the real day. As long as you (or someone) at the rehearsal is familiar with the layout of the venue then you can describe it at the rehearsal and it will be fine.

We are having our rehearsal dinner at Rolly's Tavern on the Green at the Gannon Golf course.  They have very reasonable prices for a buffet dinner.  Comfortable and easy.  Could you do a walkthrough of the ceremony somewhere else? Just so everyone can practice and get familar with how the ceremony is going to go.

Ditto, so long as the JP or officiant is there to give a heads up of the order of things and where to stand, you're all set.  Pace going down the isle, the order of who goes when. When will you say vowes, when will you exchange rings, when will you kiss.  Do it anywhere that's convenient, then go out to dinner or have a BBQ at your place.
