Dress Pressing

Hi Girls,

I bought my wedding dress at Allegria in Belmont and are having the alterations done by Chris O'Hare.  She does not do dress pressing.  Does anyone have any suggestions for reputable businesses where I can have my dress pressed before the big day (I live in Medford but will certainly travel).

    I'm having mine pressed on the Cape closer to where the wedding is, but I'm assuming your wedding is in or around Boston. I would try calling dress shops that do alterations, they might be able to do it for you. Maybe start with Allegria if you haven't already. The dress shop on the Cape I am using charges $50-75 depending on the dress.

    I'm pretty sure I'm bringing my dress to Gianna's of Stoneham. They seem really reasonable and I haven't seen any bad reviews about their alterations department.
