I just found out yesterday that a close friend of mine is dating my ex-fiance. (Awkward in and of itself, right?) I want to invite her to attend my wedding, since we have traveled together through Europe and I considered her a big sister figure when we were in high school. However, I do NOT want my ex-fiance at my wedding. It would totally distract me, and we aren't on the best of terms.
So, what do I do? Do I leave her off the guest list entirely? Do I send an invitation addressed to just her and hope she gets the hint? Do I send her an invitation with a note, explaining the situation? Or do I just send her an invitation, and if he comes along, suck it up? I really don't know what to do, since I want my friend at my wedding, but definitely not my ex!!!
