Photographer Help Needed!

My sister is getting married this fall and wanted to use Willi Wong (my wedding photographer) but he is out of her price range.  Can you ladies recommend any photographers with a similar photojournalistic style in the $2000 - $4000 range?  Thanks so much!!

Henry Chan does amazing photojournalistic stuff, and he's $3700 for the basic package.
I know Dante Williams has a pretty photojournalistic style, and he's $3500.
My photog is a great mix of photoj & portrait - Eva Dahl - I'm doing a 5 hr w/ asst day with her for $2400.

Erica Beckman from Clean Plate Pictures just did my engagement shoot and they are awesome. I think they are actually still on her website if you want to see them. I think she's between 2K-3K for full wedding day.

All of them are within the price range that you stated.  Kella and Johnathan (along with Jimmy Ryan who Julie suggested) were some of my top picks before I found someone who I know personally who will do it for a lot less.

Don't use Sarah Merians - they were awful. The photo/album quality was poor, they were unresponsive after the wedding and tried to charge us extra at every turn. Ultimately, they refused to give us the high res digital images that were included in our contract unless we paid an extra $1500. We had no choice (they were our wedding pictures...) so we paid and then successfully sued to get the money back. The reviews on Yelp.com describe similar experiences.
