So I left work early all excited for my second fitting for my wedding dress. LVB went with me because my mom wasn't able to come to town for this fitting. Well we get there about 15 minutes early and see my seamstress talking in the neighbor's yard with her husband and the neighbor so we decided to drive around for a bit to let her finish up her convo and go inside.
6pm rolls around and we go back to the house and ring the door. No answer. After a minute or two of listening to the dog bark, the neighbor calls to us that they aren't home and went for a walk. Awesome.
We waited for 30 minutes and they never came back. It looks like she forgot my appointment.
Thank goodness my mom didn't drive 2 hours and sit in rush hour traffic for that.
I called and left a message like "uhhhh I had 9/20 at 6pm written down. Did I have the wrong time?" even though she wrote that on the appointment card. I'm guessing she forgot to write it in her own appointment book.
So now I get to take off work early AGAIN at some point and hope LVB is available again!
