  • If you don't want your red-headed kid, give it to me. We can set up a trade for something. I would LOVE a redheaded kid. I've seen a woman on TB with a baby named Gideon who was BRIGHT red hair and is adorable. However, one of my friends also has gorgeous, thick, long, bright red hair and hates it. She refuses to date anyone with red hair because she doesn't want to bestow that on her kids.

Even though red hair runs in my family, everyone in FI's family is a brunette. However, they all have blue eyes, too (and my mom has green eyes), so I'm thinking it might be likely that my kids luck out and don't inherit dirt-colored eyes from me.

My mom would also be so happy to have a grandkid with red hair. My mom's one of the only gingers I know who loves having red hair.

Well, ok.  NOt the donuts.  And not really movies.

Haha, my mom is the same way.  Both her and my dad had red hair when they were younger, not at all anymore, so my siblings and I didn't have a chance.  Like everything else goes, if you have red hair you hate it, if you don't have it, you like it.

I think less than 4% of the world has red hair. So yeah, like anything else that makes you "different" it can backfire. It's so much fun, though!

And yeah, Andress, my mom's hair has faded to more of an auburn as she's gotten older.

When I was younger, an older red head (who was in her late teens) warned me that I would be called "fire crotch" for the rest of my life.  I was horrified.
But no, I've never been asked that specific question.

As far as I know, Tara is still around in the books well past what this season should be.  However, in the books, Lafayette dies before now so...

Yup, it's close to the border. The Red Wings have Tim Horton's ads along their boards. Along with the Sabres, the Bluejackets (I think) and all the Canadia teams. True hockey trivia, right here. Anyway, they're way better than munchkins.

Anyone seen Dead Snow? About Nazi Zombies? I really want to see it. I think it's in my Netflix queue.
