Wedding Channel - Personal Website

I don't know where this post belongs... but... when you google my name and FI name one of the first results is a wedding channel website with our registries on it, which has a link to our "website."  The website has our registries as well as a count down to our wedding. (URL is couples.weddingchannel.com/xyz....)

We have a personal website that I created using the knot (url is ournames.ourwedding.com).

Does anyone know how to remove the generic wedding channel website?  I know it is connected to the knot somehow, so i dont want to accidentally delete the website I created.

Same thing happened to us! I wrote to them and the generic email didn't help- it said we needed to contact the registries listed individually and have the settings changed to private. they kind of ignored the "that is not my website" comment. 

I think it's tied to the knot also- I changed my name and date information on this profile but I think the google search is still all messed up. My website is with wedding wire so I wasnt worried about that getting messed up.

Sorry, I'm of no help.

I did edit our wedding website to remove all last names so that when you googled us it WOULDN"T come up.  But that was for privacy reasons.  I imagine if you have the login to edit the wedding channel one you could do something similar so it doesn't pop up first?

Ha, they don't list both of our registries and have us getting married in a completely different state... Even if we couldn't totally get rid of it, it sure would be nice to have the correct information. Oh well. I guess it would confuse potential crashers!
