Any suggestion for $2500 and under bridal gowns in the NYC area?

I am getting married the last weekend in October 2011 and have been looking through numrous stores in Manhattan/Brooklyn for my wedding dress. Nothing that
I have tried on so far has left me in awe!  I am looking for something within the $2500 price range, preferably without having to pay rush fees (which restricts my choices to samples mostly).

Anybody with a few suggestions out there - I need to act rather quickly.
Thanks!

I'm having the same experiences with dresses. I visited RK Bridal and the dresses weren't expensive- I wouldn't recommend buying one of their samples though. Maybe you can buy a $1,000 dress and pay extra for the rush fee.

I got my dress at Birnbaum and Bullock in Manhattan and a couple of my friends have also bought their dresses there -- I'm pretty sure their dresses will come in around/under your budget.

You can also try Bridal Garden - they are all samples but the ones I tried on were in good shape. I also went to Lovely Bridal in the Village - smaller selection but they had beautiful dresses.

I got my dress from the Bridal Garden. I got a new dress. You can tell them if you're interested in trying on new, used or sample dresses and they will point you in the right direction. I got a new $3000 dress for $900.

Also - maybe try JCrew bridal?

Jenny Yoo has gorgeous dresses, and almost all of them are under $1000. I was pretty close to getting my dress here, but ending up going with something else.

Thanks, I definitely like Jenny Yoo designs and am thinking of it for my bridesmaids dresses.
Saja seems a bit for the casual, easy-to-carry looks - I have a formal church wedding and a 200+ guest list. So I am looking for something a little more formal A-line dress but still fun to wear/dance in

I still have to try Lotus Bridal/J-Crew. I must agree that Birnbuam and Bullock and Lovely Bride have beautiful designs!

I second Pronovias - they have such beautiful stuff and you would NEVER believe it but most dresses are around $2k!

I was at Pronovias and some of their dreses are really pretty! Definitely within budget, thanks! The fabric is some of the best looking around.. I may just have to run back to them, I think.

Glad I could help - and be sure to ask about their samples. I got a sample and was able to get 60% off its regular-price. What was once totally outside of my budget became under my budget!
