Re: D Clark's Rockin' NYE

  • I'm not watching yet, but I'll turn it on later I'm sure.

How're you?  BB is getting SO big!
  • I'm watching now.  Well, maybe it's the preshow?  Some boy band is playing and they kinda suck.

Loopy - she is getting big, isn't she?  I was being all kinds of sentimental yesterday and today. I usally get that way at the end of the year but it was especially bad this year because I kept thinking how awesome 2011 was for her.  This time last year, she was just learning to sit on her own and in 2011, she learned to crawl, walk, talk, sign, sing...you name it.  I mean, I look forward to what she'll learn this year but 2011 was FULL of milestones.

  • Mrs. B - it is so cool to listen to you gush about baby B.  She is a little doll and I love listening to newer mom's as they watch their little ones grow.

I'm not listening to rocking eve right now but  I did just mix up a batch of Ina Garten's Real Margaritas.  I like mine tart and strong and this is a teeny bit too tart.  We will have to work on that.

    Happy New Year everyone's.
  • Those are a lot of milestones.  A lot of the fun ones :).  I get nostalgic too at the end of the year.  And looking forward to what the next year has to bring.
  • I'm drinking wine.
  • Yeah,I'm loving the 40 years in review.  Walk Like An Egyptian brought back some middle school memories ;-)

[QUOTE]I wonder what the #1 performance is going to be. It better be someone good and not like a Bieber or TSwift deal.

SUrely not.  There's got to be someone way better in the 40 year span.

  • Hey! H and I are having a quiet night in, with pizza, salad, and a large amount of wine. Which I may need, since there's currently a discussion of when I should reproduce going on via my FB wall. *head desk*
  • Right? I put up a NYE related status w/ stuff that I'm hoping for in the next year. A friend of mine added a baby to the list, I said no, and my mom took it and ran. Ugh. I just want to be like "Hey, remember how I'm 23 and JUST got married? Chill out." I'm working on a full time job and a house.
  • Hahaha... Jill - too funny :).  Just do it.  There will never be a good time... You'll never be totally ready.
  • Swiftie wears a lot of eye makeup

  • This is one of those times I wish I had cable!
  • Cash - we don't have cable either  We made some cuts to save some money and that ridiculous bill was the first to go.  We took the next month's bill amount in the budget and bought a HD antenna.  Between the 20+ channels we get with that and the streaming through Netflix, we're good.  =-)

<div>We are Netflix'ers' too! The apartment won't let us have a dish on the outside (too bad cause FI had one) and Time Warner is SO expensive. We're hoping that soon we can get some basic channels. I know it sounds weird, but I miss being able to watch the news. I hate getting everything after the fact, but right now we're saving everywhere we can!</div>
  • I've only watched the first couple of episodes of Once Upon A Time.  I'll catch up eventually.
  • What is Once Upon A Time about? I've seen commericals but I haven't had a chance to check it out?
  • Cash - it's about fairytale characters like Snow White, Prince Charming, Rumplestiltskin, etc who are trapped together in a town but they don't realized they're storybook characters.

  • And none of them are living their "happy ever after", but someone is trying to break the curse.
  • Oh wow, I can't believe I've been missing out on it...when it comes to netflix :)
  • Was that Billy Crystal?
  • Who's RobPats?
  • What is this LMFAO group?  They're.....different.

  • I don't know who they are.  The name makes me think they are a joke. :).
  • LMFAO, they're weird, but they kinda remind me of a more "club" verison of Lonely Island. They're fun to dance to for sure.
  • Ah, yes.  The JLo skin performance.
