My daughter is getting married in FL with a very small family and wedding party only reception in January 2011, we live in IL.
In the spring we are planning to have a reception for all the people who weren't invited to the FL ceremony/ were unable to make the trip.
My question is, do we announce the wedding in FL? and what are thoughts on save the dates being sent out with the announcement of the Florida ceremony, and then a save the date for the spring reception?
Any thoughts on how to put this all together and let people know that while the FL ceremony will be small, they will be invited to a local reception in the spring?
