Need ideas on what to put in a Welcome Bag for guests visiting NYC!

We are putting our 25 guests up at a luxury NYC hotel and would like the receptionist to give each guest a Welcome Bag. So far, we're thinking of including bottled water, a red apple, a NYC map, a Time Out NY Magazine and some pastries or chocolates from a local bakery along with a welcome note. Any other NYC-theme ideas on what else we can include in the Welcome Bag?

    Other NYC theme ideas I think will be cool to add in your welcome bag:

    *book a ticket of a tour of NYC (City sights NY tour bus)
    You can do either private tours or the double decker bus. also, a uptown, downtown or a Brooklyn tour.

    *Local bakery: Try Magnolia bakery (Love, Love this place!) for the cookies,pastries or cupcakes. If you buy goodies from there or any bakery, try to decorate the pastry bag with your monogram or the cup cake boxes (which can be purchase from Michaels) and decorate it with also your monogram or NYC skyscaper.

    * Gift card to your favorite coffee shop or ice cream place

    Starbucks, dunkin donuts etc

    Pinkberry, coldstone etc...

     I have more ideas but it so much to put on here lol but I hope this works for you :)

    It's not NYC related but we put 2 cans of coke and two nips of Jack Daniels in each gift back.  Everyone loved it!

    I just did my welcome bags. We made custom tote's from discoutmugs.com with a logo on it (like the ones you buy at the groccery store).

    We also put in
    -subway map
    -red apple
    -small black and white cookie (can get them cheap from Costco)
    -NYC postcard
    -magnet (bought from Kate's Paperie)
    -print out of the out town guest events and helpful tips (like how to catch a cab etc)
    -custom water bottle (with our initials that looked like the I heart NY logo)

    Maybe you could put something sweet like chocolate bars, assorted nuts, and cookies.If I will be receiving such bags with that stuffs inside. I would love to have it and have the bite with friends around.:)

    Small gift card (enough for a bagel and schmear) at the best bagel place nearby.  Shoot for something local to give them the best NYC experience.  If they are staying aroung Chelsea, I heartily recommend Brooklyn Bagel - my favorite bagels in the city!
