Loopy- I just read a few reviews on the Discovery of Witches book. What would you say it is similar too? NPR review was so-so (it's my go to for opinions) but amazon seemed to like it. I need new books to read!

Ummm... It's not my usual reading fare, so I can't really compare it to anything.  I think Temerity Jane recommended it so I put it on my list.  I started it Thursday night I think and finished it this afternoon... and it's like 600 pages long I think (kindle edition doesn't have page numbers).  I couldn't put it down.  It's a love story between a vampire and a witch with a mystery and some intrigue thrown in to round it out, but not young adult cutesy or over the top.  I was sucked right into the story from the beginning.

That sounds like something I could do. H reads Terry Pratchet and I really can not get into it, and I need something to read at night and between jobs. Thanks!

I love the idea of Terry Pratchett, Nickie, but its just too complicated.  

Discovery of Witches sounds interesting...  I'm always looking for new reading fare.
