Yay honeymoon! Are you haivng fun? Where are you? I'm completely WoW dumb without FI too :/ And if you were way behind, I'm sure a few of us could help level you up pretty quickly. It goes by fast in the lower levels.

Next week is definitely not too late.

I had a mage.  That was my first toon - I was trying to replicate a meteorb Sorceress from D3LOD.  Didn't work.  I got her to lvl 26 and completely quit.  Too squishy for me.  I didn't have a group to play with a fair amout of the time, and she was just too, too squishy to solo.

So, FPs - are they like ally ones?  Just all over, randomly?  And is the zeplin in lieu of the boat?

Fishy, you can be a gnome.  Or, soon, a goblin.  And there are lots and lots of sah-words.

LTB, anything you want, so long as it's horde.    BE's the only horde paladin.  But there are rogues, warriors, hunters. . . you might like any of those.

kiki: yep you can be any class you want, including warrior

paladins are pretty similar to warriors + they have a heal button, which can come in handy when you're questing - you only have the choice of being a blood elf paladin though

the races you have to choose from are blood elf, troll, orc, tauren, or undead

lauren there was 15 last time i checked, but i think 4 of those were husbands/fiances who helped get the guild charter signed

kiki, the guild is totally not like that... i think there's a mix of players who have played for a long time (still play lots) and people who are just new to the game

personally i'm only playing on uldaman for the social aspect, i thought it would be fun to play with the etiquette girls - so i'm open to helping out anytime

the nice thing about joining the guild is you can always ask us questions if you're having trouble - we were all newbies at one point too!  plus if i'm online i don't mind helping you with quests if you're having trouble

Dude, you can't possibly suck more than me. Seriously. Because I've only ever played in a party with FI, I didn't even know how to speak to anyone outside my party until, like last Saturday.

heheh lauren i thought that i was accidentally whispering your husband when you didn't answer me the first time, lol

here's a tip:

/p = talk in party
/s = talk in "say" - everyone around you can see
/tell (then character name) = send a whisper to someone
/r = replies to who just whispered you

and very important:

/g = talk in guild chat

kiki, no problem with being a newb.  Do you know how to use the chat?  if you can do that, we can try to help with the rest.

I asked a bunch of dumb questions last night (and in this thread), and it's all cool.  I could NOT for the life of me get my wand to work last night.  But the guildies helped me out.

and i should probably mention - you can't talk in guild chat until you're actually part of the guild

so what i suggest is maybe start a thread on here titled ***xyrius*** want to join the guild - and put the name of your character, i tend to check the boards at night so when i see your post i'll send you an invite

you'll see a message pop up saying "xyrius would like you to join the boardwar guild" or something similar - then you just click accept and then you're ready to rock!
