Yeah, um, pretty sure you're going to end up waiting a couple of days to see the living room finished.  Sofa showed up today, in two pieces.

It is a sectional, I just thought for sure I wouldn't be able to put it together by myself.  I was wrong!

Oooh nice!  I like the big end of it where you can stretch out.  Did you decide on a rug?  I remember when you were posting lots of ideas.

No.  I think H is going to insist that we keep the black one out there.  He also doesn't see the need for a coffee table (???) sooo... that will take some time methinks.  And we definitely need some art above the sofa.

I love it all! Maybe just mention coffee tables all the time subtly in conversation all the time, and it will subliminally sink in! I mean, a rug is nice and all, but you can't easily retrieve your drink from it.

Some big crazy abstract art would be pretty behind the sofa.

Yeah, like sit on the couch and look around bewildered with a glass in your hand like "where am I supposed to put this?".  Or put it on the floor and knock it over a few times, "dang if we just had a table, this wouldn't happen!"  :P
