It's Woody Harrelson.

I'm intrigued. Yep I am. He does batfuckingshitmental quite well so I think he can pull off the lush with a crazy plan and a heart somewhere. I'm excited.

Hmm, interesting. I think it could go either way. I picture him as either his Natural Born Killers or Zombieland character whenever I think of him, so it's hard to see him as Haymich. It will be interesting to see him pull it off.

Ummm, we already discussed this tonight.  Clearly you need to come around more often.  

LVB hates the casting, Fezz me and others are kind of okay with it, and figures it's better than the casting of the other 3 main characters.

Yeah, I kind of can see it in some ways. It is way better then the other castings thus far. I hav ea feeling they are just going to ruin the book.

I like that casting! I can see him pulling off the interaction with Katniss really well. I can hear him calling her sweetheart now....

I like the whole casting I think. I was initially all ah hellz nah about K/P/G but I can see it. And Stanley Tucci as Caesar? Yes please. He'll nail it.

I just think they took some risks in casting and I can see it paying off hugely.

How was Water for Elephants?? I loved the book. I feel like I need to re-read it now since I read it when it first came out.

I was super excited yet skeptical about the film because I love the book so hard and pushed it on well... pretty much everyone... and I was not disappointed. They did such a great job on the film of keeping with the book. It was fantastic.

I will say, I was (surprisingly) disappointed the most in Reese. I think she was flat a lot of the time. Christoph (August) and Tai (Rosie) totes stole the entire show.

I totally missed the announcement about Stanley Tucci, but I'm definitely excited for that.  I love him!  

Have they announced who will play Snow?

I have a weird crush on Stanley Tucci.  I seem to always fall for the gays (see my other crush:  Anderson Cooper).

I haven't seen anything about Snow, dnb.  Has to be someone old and creepy.

I sort of like this casting.  It piques my curiosity more than the others.  Have they cast Finnick yet?  Someone once recommended the guy who played the Winklevoss twins in The Social Network, and he'd be perfect (at least looks wise)!

Don't like Lenny Kravitz for Cinna.  Like Woody Harrelson for Haymitch.

For some reason, when I read the book, I always kind of pictured Snow as Anthony Hopkins.
