• signatures - log out/log in, sig should refresh OR click on "update profile" in the Community Links on the left hand side - edit profile and then press save. It should refresh the code you already have there.
• knot tv - right click on etiquette at the top, open in new tab, no knot tv
• Ads on the side - get an adblocker (works in firefox, not sure about others, firefox is better anyways), right click on the ads and choose to block
• your posts - click the magnifying glass under a post, it will take you to them
• "sort by most recent post" - check this box if you want the posts organized by new posts, uncheck if you want the posts organized by new replies
• errors - refresh your page, it will go away. If you get an error after posting, just refresh - it will register what you posted.
• posts with multiple pages - to bypass the first page click on the post count or how many minutes/hours ago a post was written, it will take you to the last page

Is that everything? Can we stop freaking out now?

I actually think I am past initial freak out now. Yeah it was weird, and I hate change, so that was a recipe for disaster.

I am even kind of excited to play with the new gadgets.

Now I have moved on to utter frustration about the slooooowness of the boards. I feel like I can't follow any conversation on here in real time.

I think once the Knot people work out the kinks, the new format won't be horrible.  I mean, there are a few nice features.  I hope the error messages start go away and that it will let me update my profile soon, though.

I still can't get my freakin' siggy to work though.  Tried everything I could think of.  And going to edit my profile takes me to the nest.

It did that for me too the first time I tried it, is it happening each time? After my third attempt it finally went to a regular knot page where I could edit my profile.

Yea, it's still directing me to the nest.  I was able to get back to the knot to get my siggy back though.

I like it.  I see everyone's siggy's just fine.  I really like that I can respond and see the thread in the same screen.  And editing, and spellcheck, ect ad nauseum.

i want everyone to make their links open in a new tab or a new window.  it's easy to do using the "link" button at the bottom.  it annoys me when things just open and then after i'm done with the link, i forget and just close the window, losing my "place" on the knot. 

nebb, can you add a psa about the link button to your post?
