mad hatters tea party themed bridal shower?

So as my gf's MOH, I have been elected to think of ideas for the bridal shower. I have no freaking clue!!!! Mother of the bride picked this "theme" and has asked if I would be willing to dress up. NOT excited, but I need ideas ladies!!!!

One of my good friends is throwing me a mad hatter tea bridal shower (I'm 24) and is doing a great job at keeping it light and fun but still very mature. Guests are asked to wear their "maddest hats" so we are assuming party dresses and fun hats. Menu wise we are treating it as a champagne brunch but there will be little themed hints through out. Cookies with "eat me" in icing and tea cups with "drink me" tags. A mad hatter cake in my colors (one of those tilting layered cakes). Also she has found lots of old tea pots and clock that she is filling with flowers and using as center pieces. I hope this helps some because there really is a lot you can do with the theme. Also playing cards can be worked into the theme easily as well. Hope y'all have so much fun!
