The exes jewelry

Just kind of curious. Have you kept your jewelry given to you by past boyfriends? I still have mine, and occasionally think about getting rid of it, but just don't want to take it to a pawn shop. Do you still have yours? If not, how did you get rid of it?

I know this is from yesterday, but if you are still checking, I sold a ring (not an engagement ring, but a diamond chip nonetheless) on ebay after my college boyfriend and I broke up.  Took the money I earned and spent the day at the mall!

i know i'm late on this but here goes-i got engaged at 16 pawned that ring when we broke up at age 20 to go on vacation and see the Eagles in concert. Got married to someone else at 21-divorced now i pawned that one too but to go on vacation too but to vegas for a friends wedding. Pawn shops as a rule give u 1/6 of what the item is worth pretty crappy (but with my 2nd engagement/wedding ring they were having a thing where they gave you a bunch more money for it so i think i got about 1/2-3/4 purchase price for it and i was just fine with that lol) my ex husband never gave me any other jewelery-i dont feel right about keeping jewelry from an ex if u r in a new serious relationship-but thats a personal preference
