Rehearsal dinner question

Our Rehearsal is at the church at 6, dinner is at 7 at a local restaurant. Spouces of Wedding party members have been invited to dinner of course. However, a few of them have asked if they are supposed to come to the rehearsal and sit and watch or do they meet us at the restaurant? My coordinator said rehearsal will take about an hour. I really don't know the answer to this question as to what is typically done. I figured they would just watch since it would be inconvenient for couples to drive 2 cars to the dinner location. What's typically done in this situation?

Just tell them that however they want to work it out is fine.  If they want to just drive one car and sit and watch rehearsal, fine, if not that's fine too.

I've always just sat with the other spouses when DH is in a wedding. It's just easier that way.

I just tell them to do whatever they want.  I've seen people come to the rehersal because they do not want to take 2 cars.  Other times WP members will car pool and they SO car pooled themselves.  I just told them to do whatever was easiest for them.  (think we had a mix of what I said above)

Tell them they can come and watch or  they can meet you at the resturant whichever works better for them

Tell them they can do whatever they want.  The last time I was in a wedding, the RD was right next to the church, so couples were able to take one car, but the WP dates headed over to the restaurant during the rehearsal and had cocktails.

It really doesn't matter. If they want to come and watch, fine, if not, meeting at the restaruant is fine too. Not a big deal.

Do you have some super secret ceremony details that they can't see?   Will is spoil some extra fancy surprise by them being there? Good golly.   Stop overthinking.
