Is it unseasonably cool where you are?

It is like 84 here in MS. Usually we hit the high 90s in July. I am loving it.

  • 72 in KC right now.  The average temps are in the 90s usually.

  • 77 today in Nebraska.Loving it as well!! Rick, while I have you - have you read the True Blook books? I thought I'd start there before I start watching the show (don't have movie channels, so I plan to buy the seasons on DVD)

  • Ahh it's like 88 here (and raining!) instead of the usual 114. It's fabulous!
  • For July.. the past week has been really weird for Missouri. It's yucky & rainy today though. usually it's around high 90's at this point.

  • It didn't get out of the 50s here (western NY) on Sunday.  Summers are usually anywhere between 75 and 110 here.  It's been cool enough that if you didn't look at the calendar you wouldn't know it was the middle of summer.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

  • 54 and foggy in SF. :(
  • Definitely.  It makes me nervous that the heat and humidity that usually end in August are going to stick around for my wedding in September.

  • It is 67 in NY and raining

  • Yes and no.  We're bouncing around a lot.  29C is fairly normal for us, but we're getting that mixed with low 20's which is odd for July. I'm not really complaining since I don't have air conditioning though.

  • Yep, it's cool, even for MI this time of the year. I would typically be at the beach on the weekends, but no.

Yes! 65 and raining in CT today. DH commented earlier today that this is the coolest summer he can remember. I wonder what this means for fall/winter this year!

  • It's been in the 80s here in FL all week.  Definitely not normal because last week it was in the 100s.  It's a lot nicer than normal weather though.
  • Oh, I should specify that just today is unseasonably cool. The rest of the season has been hot as ever.
  • Up until about 2.5 weeks ago, it was unseasonably cool here. Now it's blazing hot. Boo.
  • I'm in the NW so we're getting all the heat that everyone else usually has :)
  • Its been low to mid 80's all month in Philly.  I love it!!  It did nothing but rain in June so its been great.
  • We've had good rain and cooler temps. I think this means the leaves will hang around on the trees for a bit longer, but the colors won't be as intense. I'm betting the heat arrives in August and lasts longer than normal, which will be fine with me, if it means my Oct. wedding will be warm!
  • Vogt, no, but I am ordering some tonight for my trip to the beach in August. I hear they are awesome!

  • It 71 and cloudy here in New Jersey.
  • last week was awful, but this week has been mid to high 20C's for a while now. saturday it was actually over 30C, which was just way too much
    kablah.....that is all.
  • 74 currently with a high of 97 in the Sacramento Valley in CA. Supposed to be 100 again this weekend. Yuck.
  • Maybe this means MS. will get a REAL fall!

  • Anywhere from 100-110.. so its about right.. should get up to 112-115 soon in the next few weeks.. but it was a very cool june.

  • Normally July in St. Louis is about as close to a sauna as you can get in the midwest. But, it's 76 today, which is crazy weird. It also means it's about -3 in my office. I'm thinking about bringing a parka with me tomorrow.

  • We're having the coolest summer since '92 apparently. It's only been above 30C twice and it rains almost every freaking day. I am so bummed.

  • Mocha where in MN are you from? It's been very cool here (Minnesota) lately. On Friday it didn't even hit 70. Usually it's humid and in the 90's by this time in July. Loving the weather, I get to wear jeans & a sweatshirt year-round!
  • I'm in the Cities.  Every storm has skirted north or south of our house it seems.  Yeah, most of last week it was jeans and light sweatshirt weather.  Can't say I'm complaining too much, but I do kinda like a few good hot days so I can wear strappy tanks in the evening without getting cold.
  • I'm not far from Alix and I'm getting really tired of this low 20's rainy crap.  We only get about 3 months of nice weather a year and for those 3 months I expect beautiful sunshine and heat dammit!
