Processional Question

We're having a non-denominational christian ceremony. How does the processional go? Here's what I have based on a protestant processional from The Wedding Book by Mindy Weiss. Minister, Groom & Best man walk to front. Grandparents are seated Parents are seated Bridesmaids walk to front Flower girl and Ring Bearer walk to front Maid of Honor Walk to front Bride & Father walk to front If it isn't "right" we will hear about it. I thought the flower girl went right before the bride? But this has the flowerirl, then MOH, then Bride. HELP & THANKS!

Re: Processional Question

  • Who will you hear about it from?I think you can do this however you want or how your church prefers. We will be doing basically like that, except the flower girl and ring bearer will walk in right before my father and I.

  • I'm not 100% sure, but that looks right, although, I have seen the flower girl come out right before the bride. Why don't you ask the people "you will hear about it" from?  If they want to see it a certain way, they'll know which way that is.FWIW, do it the way you want.  I'm pretty sure no one will actually notice.
  • There are very opinionated aunts and uncles on both sides. I want to head off any complaints.
  • If you really are worried about what certain people will think, maybe you should ask those people in advance. That way, it's done the way they think is "right," and you won't "hear about it."
