How many programs did you order?

I've read post on here about having a ton of programs left over. I'm seriously trying hard to avoid that situation. So we are looking at having 175 people. How many programs should I order. 100? 150? How many people did you have and how many programs did you order? TIA!

I had 145 guests, made 90 programs and had at least 30 left over.

Will you have ushers handing out programs? If so assume 90%-100% of guests will get one if not ushers handing out teh programs assume 50-75% of guests will take one

I'd say 75-100. We had a handful left over and I didn't make one for every guest, but I don't remember how many I actually had printed.

ffmaid makes a really good point - for those of you who had that many left over, did you have someone passing them out or did guests just take them if they wanted them?

I had 50 for 85 people and we ran out.

Does it make a difference if they are functional - ie fans in the summer? Men/children may want to use one, even if they don't keep it?
