last question, promise..

maybe. I can't find any two websites that tell me the same info, so I'll just find the majority here. The return address should or should not have a name in it? And is it ok to mail the RSVP's to my house even though my parents are paying? Is mylastname-hislastname wedding and then the address ok for RSVPs?

Re: last question, promise..

  • RSVPs should go to whomever is the one tracking who is and is not coming . Be that you or your parents. Yes a name on teh RSVP is nice
  • 1.  Who is really going to look/care?2.  We just put my name because the envelope was small.3.  I think it doesn't matter who it goes back to in relation to who's paying.Oh, and I think addressing something to a wedding is kinda silly...mail gets addressed to people.

  • All of that stuff is just how ever you want to do it.  Have rsvp's go to whoever is actually in charge of tracking them, no matter who is paying.  Return address, put whatever you want.

The name on the return address is optional. We didn't put one, but there was no real reason behind it.Yes, it's fine, and easier for you to keep track (at least IMO), and yes, name-name wedding is fine for RSVPs :)

  • We had an embosser made that just has our address going around our zip code in a circle. No names/last name confusion, so we can use it before the wedding and after.

  • I second the "it's lame to address something to a wedding"
