Re: recipe for your best dip

  • I don't know what it's called but this is a dip my SIL always makes and it's yummy!! 1 jar salsa 1 can black beans, drained 1 small can of corn niblets, drained BBQ sauce to taste serve with tortilla chips and YUM!!! It will literally take you 5 minutes to make. I think this is the same base as my MOH's "crack dip"...just add avocado to it and take out the BBQ. Sorry I don't have more specifics but I don't think the dip is rocket science...mostly to taste.

  • Ok - I bring this everywhere and I've never had anyone not LOVE it!  It sounds a little weird, but the combination makes for a great dip.Equal amounts of finely chopped green bell pepper, red onion, and crushed pineapple (I used canned).  Mix that with cream cheese (set it out a little early so it softens).  Mix in enough cream cheese to make it thick enough to form into a ball and cover with pecans.  Serve with crackers. YUMMMY!
