Hey everyone....I've exhausted my friends and family on this topic, but thought you all might have some suggestions..... I'm getting married late september and the bridesmaids have short black dresses, which we are all very excited about. but now i am not sure what color flowers i want them to cary. I was originally thinking deep dark red roses and such, but now i'm not sure. Since it's fall I was also toying with orange, but I'm pretty sure that would look like a halloween nightmare. Any ideas for flower colors (I dont have an accent color at all yet)? I am wanting to stay away from pink and teal....(although they're nice, FI hates them).... I think orange (and other fall colors) can be done tastefully and not look halloween-y.  Remember that their dresses are going to act more neutral (like a tux) rather than a color.  Then if you pick another accent color (maroon?), focus on that with your decor.

I love both of anna's pics...specifically the 2nd.  Those would look gorgeous and really stand out from a black dress, and it wouldn't be Halloween at ALL.

I"d go for something like what was posted above; if you like roses, maybe the "Konfetti Roses" (they're called different things but they're bicolor, in any case) Sort of a peachy/coral with yellow.
