shower TY card question

When writing thank you cards for a shower should they be signed by just the bride or the bride and groom?Google gives conflicting responses so I thought it was best to ask you guys.

I signed all of mine just from me, since the shower was given for me.

I will sign them just from me (granted someone throws me a shower-and they better!!!) ;-)

According to Cranes, a TY can be written on BEHALF of two people, but is still just sent by one.  So you can say "we love xxx" but sign it with your name OR your FIs, not both.

ffamaid--I like the idea of mentioning the groom in the text, thanks. I felt like he should be mentioned somehow b/c he'll use everything we received. Probably even more than me b/c he's a better cook;)

Ditto signing it from you but mentioning "Mr. Abeille and I" somewhere in the note

Dear Marge, It was so great to see you at the shower on saturday. I love the griddle you gave us. Millhouse makes the best blueberry pancakes and this griddle will be so wondeful for his special blueberry pancakes. It is perfect and so considerate of you. Millhouse and I can not wait to see you again along with homer lisa,bart,and maggy at the wedding. Thanks Julie
