Return postage on international invitations

Hi all,I'm sending out a handful of wedding invitations internationally. Clearly, I can't include a U.S. stamp on those response envelopes. Should I try to track down appropriate postage from the countries I'm sending them to (which I think could be difficult) or just leave the return postage off? Thanks!Cheers,Melinda

I left the postage off and included a note that said we would call in a few weeks. I think my family appreciated getting to talk to us, especially those who I knew wouldn't be able to make the trip.
  • Our international invites were Canadian, so I bought some last time we went up to visit FI's family. If you can't pick postage up yourself, another option would be to have someone in that country buy postage and send it to you, and then reimburse them (if it's a family member who woudln't mind helping you out).  We were going to have FI's aunt do that if we wouldn't have gone up to visit. Otherwise, I would do like pp said and put a little insert that they can rsvp by phone or email if that would be more convenient.  I think they'll understand why you didn't put return postage on.
  • It's perfectly correct to leave the postage off.
  • OOops! sorry! Duh!
