We had cocktails, ceremony, and then reception as well. What you have is good, but a bit wordy. You could do something like: Together with their parents Bride & Groom invite you to share in their joy on their wedding day/request the pleasure of your company as they are united in marriage Friday, December 11, 2009/the eleventh of December Cocktails and appetizers at six o'clock in the evening/6:00pm Ceremony at seven o'clock/7:00pm (Buffet) Dinner at eight o'clock/8:00pm Address ----------------------- If you want it less formal, write out the date like December 11, 2009 and times like 6:00pm, 7:00pm, 8:00pm.
