OOT Bags

Ladies -I remember someone posted about what you included in your OOT bags.  Naturally, I've completely forgotten what you said.So, what went in your OOT bags?  We're trying to keep in NY-themed for our international guests.

    I haven't done mine yet but we're planning on including I<3 NY tees (cheesy, but fun, I think), bottles of water, those little subway maps and metrocards filled with a few bucks, some purell, snacks and maybe something from Bigelow or someplace like that to make it more New Yorky.     Mini black&white cookies!!i have also seen apples, 5th ave candy baralso the above were good ideas for map, t-shirt, purell (they sell a mini 4 pack)

    Just curious how you got your OOT bags to your guest.  I'll only have a handful but everyone will probably pick his/her hotel of their choosing in order to enjoy their time spent in NYC. Would it be okay to give them a bag at the reception (towards the end), and how big a bag are you putting together? Thanks.

    We brought them to the hotels they were staying at.  I  wouldn't suggest trying to hand them out at the wedding, you'll be too busy, they might leave without saying good bye, someone else might see and wonder where "their gift" is even though they are not from OOT.  We had:  (for each guest in the room)a bottled wateran applea York Peppermint PattyA 5th Avenue Candy barA package of mini black and white cookies (bought at Grace's Marketplace)a packet of tylenolWe got  plain white paper gift backs and printed out "I <heart> NY" stickers with our name and date and stuck the stickers on the bag.

    also, check out Economy candy (either website or downtown) they sell chocolate statues of liberty and chocolate taxicabs.

    I am also doing a NY theme for our OOT bags I have a list along with pictures of what we'll be putting in the bags in my bio under DIY if you want to look HTH!

    Our OOT Bags included: -big red apple -mini fat witch brownies -mini chocolate bars from dylans candy bar -a bottle of brooklyn brewery beer -streetwise nyc folding map -book of things to do including restaurant suggestions with a mini bio on us and our relationship - how we got engaged, etc -items were placed inside i <3 ny tote bag, which we got a really good bulk deal on
