Dress shopping... PIP

I browsed online a LOT.  But, I've only spent one day in dress shops trying things on.  I tried on 20+ dresses in that one day, found one I really like & my mom cried over it (in a good way).  I'm really not a shopping kinda girl, and I'm not sure I'd ever fall in LOVE with a dress like some people talk about.  So. . . thoughts?  BTW - please ignore any strange faces I'm making in the pics - my sis was taking them, and didn't warn me, so they're mid conversation/crying/etc.

• I love it. The beading is very similar to my dress (on the top and in the middle). Now I want my dress! ::pouts::

• Very simple and elegant - I love it. It accentuates your body very well.
• I really like it but the bead bands are in a very unflattering place, across the hips.  You look like you have a great body and it makes you look wider.  Also, at the top, at least a slight sweetheart would flatter you more because it seems to make you look broad on top.  It is a very nice style, altering it or finding something similar might work better.
• Sorry to disagree with MrsAE, but I was going to say that it looks like it really doesn't need to be altered.  I actually like wear the bead bands are, too.
• You don't need to apologize for disagreeing, everyone has their opinion.
• Thanks, everybody.  I feel better about it.  The sample is about 2 sizes too big, so the right size should help, particularly with the hip area.  MrsAE, I tried on some sweethearts, and they did NOTHING for me.  I felt very awkward in them.  This one I felt like I didn't have to worry about it, fuss with it, etc.  I really like the bodice. . . the uneven-ness covers a multitude of flaws & masks the things I like least about me, which helps a lot with being very comfortable in it.

• Well, I think it's pretty, but... it shortens you a bit.  It's very pretty though. :)
• Amoro, that's perfect, then!  I'm 5'7", FI is 5'8".  Not much room for heels anyway, and he likes to look taller.  :)

• Being a few sizes big makes sense, it will probably wrap around you better if it fits.

It's a pretty dress and suits you very well. You have a great figure! Do you know the designer?

• I think it's really beautiful - I shopped for similar styles (simple, strapless, shirring-type detail) so it seems like we have similar taste!  It really accentuates your tiny waist.  I can see the clips in the back in the mirror, it's obviously big!  I'll bet when it's the right size, the hip detail will be a little higher, too, eliminating any issues that MrsAE mentioned (not that it's that bad, IMO...I didn't notice til she pointed it out). Can't wait to see pics after your first fitting, when the dress is your size!  Have you thought about a veil yet? (just being nosy, since I have a similar dress...)

• It's a Maggie Sottero "Monroe".  For a veil, I'm thinking a relatively long, but not excessively full single layer, with a ribbon border.  The bridal shop had one I tried on with it that I really like a lot, but their price is almost $300.  I've actually made several veils before for friends/family, so I'll make my own.  I'm guessing $30 - $50, total, if that.I really appreciate the commentary -- I wanted to go ahead and order, and as most everyone seems to be a fan, I'm going to.  I've got 9.5 months left, and the shop says Maggie takes a full 6 months to come in.
