Clip Hair Extensions

did anyone use clip in hair extensions, or plan on using them? Id like to add a couple of inches of length to my hair. Any tried and true places to buy from,or suggestions?

I did.  PIB. Mine are from Sally Beauty Supply.  I bought blonde and then dyed them to match my hair so that I could get a perfect match.  Make sure you use the ones that are real hair and not like Barbie doll hair.

i bought from sally as well, and got real human hair. i forget the brand but they came in a red box.  they came in two different lengths, and i bought the longer ones for more flexibility. i lucked out because they had a color that was almost exactly my hair color, however i did bring them to my hairdresser because they are packaged with the ends kind of raggedy and you'll need to get them trimmed up.  i happen to think they look great and i'm very excited about wearing them!

I wear clip in extensions EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. I seriously love them. They are real hair so I can dye them, curl them, flat iron them, whatever. I bought my set from my stylist, they were custom made to fit my head and to blend in with my real hair. Before I took the plunge and bought "real hair" extensions, I tried jessica simpson/ken paves fake ones. I think I spent about $100. The clip was pretty big and it was one piece. I did like it, but it was heavy. The real ones I have now are 5 different pieces and clip in close to the scalp. I don't even notice them. I bought another set for my wedding that was a little longer... I'm excited to get them! If you have any other questions, let me know.

i just remembered, i got the ones that were marked "Remy" on the advice of my hair dresser. i dont think that's the brand, but a type that signifies real human hair. i think. i do know that it was a red box and it said Remy on it! hope that helps.

I did - PIB mine were 18 inches so i cut them myself about 1 2/2 inches shorter i bought mine at an ethnic hair store and sewed the clips on myself and cut them to size, etc.
