I realize it's regional, but what I'm paying is actually ridiculously cheap for where my wedding is.  And people looking for budget advice would probably care.  I mean, if I were trying to figure out how to cut costs and someone came in with a $10,000 budget, their advice would be incredibly irrelevant to me.Why am I wrecking FFF with this?

Yup, I'm teasin' ya Vally.  I actually completely agree.  I hate when people come on (especially on a national board) and ask how much things cost.  Or when people casually toss in that their mom is paying for their 30k wedding (*coughkaticough* but I do like you anyway Kati).

Half of FFF is clever and interesting, and the other half makes me think of the insecure girls in 8th grade who wore too much eyeliner and polyester halter tops from Wet Seal who huddled in the bathroom together gossiping about other girls in an attempt to make themselves feel cool.Just sayin'...

Sometimes, it's annoying when people say "I don't care about *fill in topic*" in regards to what other people post.  It's perfectly normal to not give 2 sh*ts about what someone has posted, but in this case, simply keep it moving or don't open the post at all.  Chances are, somebody has actually benefited from that information.  If people took the time to filter out all the things other people "don't care about", there'd be nothing to read.

hah AC, you've got a point.  The recent influx of "I sent out STDs and now I have to tell 300 people they can't come!!" posts make me want to eat my eyes.  But clearly there are people out there who really have no idea what a STD really is.  Hopefully, the 30 posts in the last three days will clear things up for good.

Daffodil, there's an AW on my local who is much much worse.  She was one of the featured people on Knottie TV or whatnot.  Any in So Cal probably knows who I'm talking about.  Here is her quote from a Confessions thread last week - I literally wanted to vom:i confess......on initially asking 9 girls to be my bridesmides...yikes. i then had to un-ask 3...which sucked. ...on not feeling guilty for asking my BMs to buy $275 dresses; i think they're fabulous!...on pouting and whining to get my way on photography, chairs, decor, dj and lighting, coordinator (but hubby was happy in the end how things turned out as he wanted to do ipod-dj, friend to take pix, no lights, no coordinator, etc)...on wishing i did our slideshow myself (fi was supposed to do but delegated a friend to do it) b/c i kinda hated it. =(...on wishing my sister (MOH) had a better speech; she winged it and told everyone i was bridezilla and that planning the wedding was more important than our marriage. <-- that is seriously all i remember. i want better memories...
