Photographer Update

So a few weeks ago I made several posts about a photographer, not liking her work, wanting a new one, comparing a few, etc.Well, current photographer (the bad one) met with my mom, who lives where the wedding is, and basically gave me an out saying her style may not be what I am looking for and we can discuss it when the engagement pictures are finished.  She even said she'd give the deposit back.  Now I just need to decide on a new one.

I forgot the actual question bit.Should I let her keep the deposit or part of it as a gesture/thank you?  It was $250.00.  My mom thought $100.00 would be sufficient.  Any thoughts?

I wouldn't have her keep her deposit for being nice, but maybe something for doing the e-pics.

There is a separate fee for the e-pics.  Am I being too nice about it?  I'm just so grateful she isn't planning on making a stink about it.

I think that's a good idea to try to meet with as many of them as you can. Also, even though Kristin is my photog, I don't know much about her other than my interactions with her. I would recommend Allure over her, just because I've heard so many good things (and if she's less expensive, then great!) I also have heard amazing things about Iconic (my DOC used him for her wedding), so I think you'll like him a lot. If you have time, I'd love to see if we can figure out a lunch or something. Let me know when you make some plans and I'll rearrange my schedule if at all possible
