  • 1. Do you return the carts to their proper place in a super market parking lot? Always.  If I see another one along the way I'll bring that one too.  But I don't go out of my way to dash around the parking lot corralling carts. 2. Do you hold doors for other people? Yup.  And I get irritated when they don't say thank you. 3. When driving, do you let cars pull out in front of you? If they signal, and I know they'll be waiting a long time if I don't, then yes.  But if they're driving like asssholes and not signaling I do everything in my power to not let them in. 4. You are given more change than you deserve at a store (a significant amount - let's say a $100 bill instead of a $10 bill.) Do you bring it back or keep it? Bring it back.  If it's a mistake that high, I'd even bring it back if I didn't notice til I got home.  If it's say a 20 instead of a 10, and I get home before I notice, I'd probably keep it.  But if I noticed in the store, I'd give it back. 5. How tall are you?5'2" (and a quarter!)

When driving, do you let cars pull out in front of you? Haha not on purpose. I have road rage. 4. You are given more change than you deserve at a store (a significant amount - let's say a $100 bill instead of a $10 bill.) Do you bring it back or keep it? If I had already left the store before noticing, I would keep it. If I noticed it before I left, I would take it back. 5. How tall are you?5'0"

  • 1. ALWAYS - my one grocery store uses the quarter system, I love it because I don't have to worry about someone leaving a cart and it hitting my car - this is one of my biggest pet peeves.2. Yes!3. Sometimes, if they have their blinker on and tried to merge in a timely manner - if they run up right until the lane ends, I don't let them in!4. Return it.5. 5'3"
  • 1. 99% of the time, unless there's not a buggy return in sight.2. Yes, because I hate when people don't hold doors for me.3. Yes, all the time. I'm never in that much of a hurry that I can't let a couple people out along the way.4. Bring it back. The cashier could get in SERIOUS trouble if the day's ending balance is that much off.5. 5'6"

    1. Yes. I feel guilty if I don't. 2. Yes. 3. Always. It drives DH nuts. 4. Bring it back. 5. 5'6"

  • Yes to 1-4, but for 3, I get irrationally infuriated when I let a car in and then watch them NOT let someone in, especially if they were pushy about getting in. I let YOU in, you let someone ELSE in, that's how it works! As for 4, I'd definitely give back an extra hundred, 50, 20, 10 even less if I noticed it. Mostly, though, I grab change and wad it into some bills/coins/receipt ball and stuff it in my pocket or purse, so I probably wouldn't notice for a long while. And I'm 5'2".

You are given more change than you deserve at a store (a significant amount - let's say a $100 bill instead of a $10 bill.) Do you bring it back or keep it? • 1. Sometimes? But not usually. If I have my son with me, I'm not going to leave him alone in the car so I can "properly" return a cart. Some old hag got on my case about it the other day....whatev 2. Yes. 3. If they've been patient and haven't jammed up traffic because the just HAD to get in, then yes. 4. Give it back. Karma's a biiach 5. 4'11''

  • 1. Always.  It irritates me when people don't because I have to park farther away so it doesn't hit my car. 2.  Yes, I almost always hold doors. 3. As a general rule, I let one person get in front of me in high traffic 4.Take it back. 5. 5' 9"
  • 1.  Usually and if there are others near me, I'll take back as many as I can handle.2.  Always.3.  Yeah, but I'll only let one car in.  I'm not going to wait an extra 5 minutes so that all 4 cars stopped can sneak in.  I let one in and hopefully the guys behind me lets the next one in.4.  Definitely.  I've worked retail, so I wouldn't want to get anyone in shiit for being short at the end of the day.  If it's just change, chances are I won't notice.5. 5'7"
  • 1. Do you return the carts to their proper place in a super market parking lot? Always.  If you get a cart here, you have to put a coin in to get it released.  If you want your euro back, you have to put the cart back.  Works like a charm! 2. Do you hold doors for other people? I used to in the US, but I don't do it here because no one does it. 3. When driving, do you let cars pull out in front of you?  Depends on my mood. 4. You are given more change than you deserve at a store (a significant amount - let's say a $100 bill instead of a $10 bill.) Do you bring it back or keep it? Give it back.  I don't want that on my conscience. 5. How tall are you? 5'8"
  • ggmae - thanks =) I figured I'd change it up since I got new pictures from the shower Saturday, and to stop confusing people thinking that I am salt, haha

Usually, unless they're driving like aggressive _fucks4. You are given more change than you deserve at a store (a significant amount - let's say a $100 bill instead of a $10 bill.) Do you bring it back or keep it? Bring it back--I'm earning more than the average cashier and they'll get in big trouble/have to pay for whatever is missing from their register.5. J&K - If I hold a door for someone and they don't say thank you, I say "You're welcome" to them. Sometimes I get looks, other times not.

  • St Thomas as some of the worse drivers in the world.  They are terrible.   That said, they are the most courtesy at letting people in.  When the power goes out (which is often) the major intersections flow much better than when the traffic lights are on.  That's how nice people are at letting people in.

  • (a significant amount - let's say a $100 bill instead of a $10 bill.)Luckily for Canadians, this is quite hard to do (in my experience anyway) as all the bills are diffenent colours.  I think that I or the cashier would notice right away if she/he gave me a brown one instead of a purple one.
  • 1. always 2. Yep, but I say a rude "You're welcome" if they don't acknowledge my gesture at all.  usually people smile at least3. just 1 car4. I make people count my change out to me, to make sure it's right.5. I'm 5'3 1/4.  When you're short, the extra 1/4 counts

Do you hold doors for other people? Yes. 3. When driving, do you let cars pull out in front of you? I don't really drive I take public transportation. 4. • For one, you don't know if I do or don't have kids, so it's silly to tell me to go have one before I can speak on the subject.Secondly, I sure as hell never told you to leave the kid in the car.  I was thinking more along the lines of, take groceries to car, close car, take cart (and kid!) to the corral, put cart away, take kid to car.  Very, very, difficult.  I see that now.
  • 1. Do you return the carts to their proper place in a super market parking lot?  yes but carts don't leave stores here so we usually don't have to worry2. Do you hold doors for other people?  I do a lot of the time but most places have door men3. When driving, do you let cars pull out in front of you?  N/A4. You are given more change than you deserve at a store (a significant amount - let's say a $100 bill instead of a $10 bill.) Do you bring it back or keep it?  give it back5. How tall are you? 5'8''
